Celebrating 988 Day
Vibrant Emotional Health has been the power behind the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline since its inception.
After transitioning to a nationwide three-digit dialing code in 2022, more than 10 million calls, texts, and chats from individuals seeking help with suicide, mental health, and substance use-related challenges have been answered.
Despite its successes, we know that not everyone who needs help gets help. In fact, 33% of Americans have never heard of 988. Together, we can change that.
The first to-be annual 988 Day is this Sunday, September 8. Can we count on you to help spread the word of this lifesaving resource?
Now through 988 Day (this Sunday), tell your friends, family, community, and networks that help is only a text, call, or chat away—24/7, 365.
