Family & Youth Peer Support Services

Peer advocates with lived experience walk alongside families and young people, helping them access resources and build resilience.

Navigating emotional and behavioral challenges can feel overwhelming for children, teens, and their families alike. Our Family & Youth Peer Support Services (FYPS) offer free, compassionate, and culturally-competent support for parents/caregivers of youth under 18 with behavioral or emotional health challenges, and young people up to 24 seeking support.

With early support, many children avoid unnecessary ER visits, out-of-home placements, or long-term disengagement from school or services. We tailor our services to the unique needs of each family and youth.

Services include:

-Peer Support: One-on-one guidance for navigating education, mental health, and social services systems

-Parenting Workshops: Practical tools and connection with others facing similar challenges

-Youth and Family Groups: Safe, supportive spaces to build confidence, explore identity, and develop leadership skills

-Referrals and Resources: Help connecting to essential services like counseling, education support, housing, and more

-Multilingual Access: Services are offered in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and French
