Queens Affirming Youth And Family Alliance

In a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment, LGBTQIA+ youth and families can achieve emotional well-being and security.

For LGBTQIA+ young people, the journey toward self-love and acceptance sometimes includes challenges. Whether you’re a young person seeking connection and affirmation or a parent looking to better understand and support your child, Vibrant is here for you.

At the Queens Affirming Youth and Family Alliance, program participants benefit from short-term counseling, peer and group support, referrals to affirming community providers, and other resources and support.

Building a strong community offers valuable emotional and social support, helping everyone feel accepted and understood. The Queens Affirming Youth and Family Alliance is a welcoming space where people can celebrate all their identities and connect with others who share similar experiences—leading to a sense of pride and hope for the future.

This program prioritizes serving Black, Brown, and other People of Color, migrants, asylum seekers, and undocumented individuals and families.
