For LGBTQIA+ young people, the journey towards hope, emotional well-being, self-love and acceptance can sometimes include challenges. Whether you’re a young person seeking connection and affirming care or a parent looking to better understand and support your child, Vibrant Emotional Health is here for you.
At the Queens Affirming Youth and Family Alliance, program participants benefit from short-term counseling, peer-led group support, referrals to affirming community providers, and other supportive resources.
Building a strong community foundation offers hope, valuable emotional and social support, helping everyone feel accepted and empowered. The Queens Affirming Youth and Family Alliance is a welcoming space where people can celebrate all their identities and connect with others who share similar experiences—leading to a sense of pride and hope for the future. In addition, we center time for parents and caregivers to support each other in deepening the care they provide to the youth in their lives.
