Family Link Plus is designed to help families when parenting may be more challenging because of substance misuse or mental health needs. The program focuses on providing support and resources to parents and caregivers, though support for children is also available. Our intensive, youth-friendly care is especially effective in getting hard-to-reach teens connected to services and improving their relationships with family members. Supportive in-home visits are provided to help the family stay together.
Our staff provides resources and connects families to any services necessary, including supportive counseling, parenting education, domestic violence support, treatment referrals, housing, financial, and immigration support.
Who Is It For
Parents and caregivers who are struggling with parenting due to mental health and/ or substance abuse. Participants must reside in the following Bronx neighborhoods:
- Bedford Park
- Belmont
- East Tremont
- Fordham
- Little Italy

Wednesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday: as needed
*Visits outside of these hours are possible by prior arrangement.
Parents and caregivers can contact Family Link directly to enroll or they can be referred by the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) or other community based agencies.
