Our youth are experiencing a mental health crisis. We are empowering mothers with the tools they need to help
guide our youth through our nation’s mental health epidemic.
– In 2023, 20% of American adolescents had a major depressive disorder, and fewer than half of those who needed treatment were getting it.
– In 2021, 42% of high school students and 57% of teen girls said they felt persistently sad or hopeless – the
highest rate in 10 years.
– Suicide is a rising concern for youth. In 2021, 10% of high school students attempted suicide, and 22%
seriously considered it.
