We help people coping with serious mental health issues set their own pace for recovery. Vibrant’s Harlem Bay Network Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) offers a comprehensive recovery program designed for adults diagnosed with serious mental health challenges. Our approach incorporates rehabilitation and clinical services into one plan that helps participants take control of their lives, successfully return to their communities, and live independently.
Each person works with their PROS Advisor to develop an individual recovery plan that focuses on one or more services. PROS Advisors can help them identify and attain their life goals, such as securing and maintaining stable employment and housing, connecting to mental health and substance misuse treatment services, and evaluating higher education opportunities. The program also provides classes to help in their recovery, develop life skills, and share healthy coping and wellness resources.
Our program offers classes to adults living in Harlem who are struggling with mental health challenges. Many of our participants have very specific information and skill needs, such as job exploration and how to manage stress. Our staff help our participants select the services and courses that best suit their rehabilitation and clinical goals, as well as their schedules.
There are four types of services and courses for participants to choose from:
Our Classes:
~ Community Rehabilitation and Support (CRS) assists with restoring the skills necessary for independent living, including job exploration, exploring the world of education, and stress management.
~ Intensive Rehabilitation (IR) assists with attaining specific life goals, such as finding a job, returning to school and obtaining independent housing.
~ Ongoing Rehabilitation and Support (ORS) offers off-site support by a job coach to address the needs of maintaining stability in the workplace after achieving employment.
~ Clinical Treatment (optional) includes psychiatry and nursing services that promote medication management, healthy living, and goal-focused therapy.
