Now that the school year is underway and kids are hopefully settling into the new routines of school, this is often the time of year when relationships start to solidify. And that means that your child, or teen, has probably reconnected with friends and started to make some new friends. It can also be a time when students start to form cliques and start to exclude others based on perceived differences. Bullying behaviors can start subtly (or not so subtly) and can effect kids of all ages.

MHA-NYC’s Cristina Harris, Program and Training Manager for the Center for Policy, Advocacy, and Education, has some tips on how to deal with bullying.
