Sharing the Knowledge
Vibrant Campout 2005 Workshops
Like many natural resources in our world, knowledge can be seen as a commodity – a privately owned interest that is to be bought and sold. Alternatively, we can see knowledge as a gift to be given freely and openly, thus embracing the notions that giving can enrich our own resources rather than deplete them and that working together, we can all thrive. Dipping into the deep wells of our own Vibrant community and slightly beyond into the larger creative community, we bring you a series of workshops that celebrate sustainability, connection, mind-body health, movement, and awareness. We are grateful to all our workshop leaders for sharing their knowledge with us; we also recognize the importance of supporting those in our community who are striving to make a living as artists, healers, and teachers. We hope that you enjoy!
Some of our workshops have special requirements that call for advance planning, so please CAREFULLY READ the descriptions below if you are interested in attending.
A Schedule of Events listing all workshops (as well as your favorite Vibrant DJs, live musical and dance performances, and Kids’ Kamp activities) will be available at the gate and information desk. Please check the schedule at the Info Tent for the most up-to-date times and locations - changes to workshops will be posted there.

Sun. 11am, Main Stage
Hoop-Yo is a combination of Hooping and Yoga. We will start out with some yoga poses and stretching using hoops, to focus on getting into our bodies and developing awareness to allow us to hoop with more grace and flow. Marshall Taylor
Sun., 1:30 pm, Meet at Kitchen
Learn the basics in solar system sizing, wiring, soldering, battery maintenance, and homebrew solar tracking on the cheap! Bring your collective alternative energies and a pen.
Marshall aspires to be an organic, free-range, cruelty-free, fair trade, biodegradable, wildcrafted, shade grown, carbon-neutral, biodiesel locomoting, green party kind of person.
